The founding of AQUA BAGNO in 2003 laid the foundation for the online shop it is today. Let's give you a brief overview of how the AQUA BAGNO online shop has evolved over the past 20 years.
2003: The AQUA BAGNO shop goes online, focusing on ceramics, bathroom furniture, and wellness sanitary products, such as whirlpools and steam showers.
2005: Demand for our products increases, allowing us to expand and enter the B2B sector in addition to direct-to-consumer sales.
2007: To increase our brand awareness, we showcase our products at international trade fairs.
2009: AQUA BAGNO opens its bathroom furniture showroom in Dortmund, allowing customers to view products in person for a better purchase decision.
2011: We expand our warehouse space to over 20,000m², laying the foundation for our own bathroom furniture production.
2012: AQUA BAGNO starts manufacturing bathroom faucets in Iserlohn.
2013: Our ceramic toilets prove themselves in the highly competitive sanitary market and achieve the LGA certification.
2014: As true experts in bathroom furniture, we focus more on our own products. We apply for the Aqua Bagno brand registration.
2016: Due to high demand, we expand our distribution channels once again.
2017: Our brand is officially registered and launched - Aqua Bagno. From now on, we not only sell products from other strong brands but also our own quality brand.
2018: In addition to the production of bathroom furniture and ceramics, we expand our manufacturing to include toilet seats.
2020: Demand for our products continues to grow. In response, we start using a 30,000 m² interim storage facility in Turkey.
20 Years is Just the Beginning
A lot has happened in the last 20 years of our company’s history, but we are far from reaching the end of our journey. We grow with the demand for our products. This is why we are currently constructing anew building with storage and office space in Castrop-Rauxel with a total area of 36,000 m². It is important to us not just to grow at any cost, but to be mindful of environmental impact. This guiding principle is also reflected in our business decisions: we are integrating solar panels into the construction of our new buildings in Castrop-Rauxel to focus more on asustainable energy supply in the long term. In addition to sustainable growth, it is also important to us to provide the best service despite the increasing company size. We are constantly working to further increase ourcustomer focus, for example, by offering our online shop customers a wide range of common and secure payment methods.
Our long-term goal for the future is clear: We want AQUA BAGNO and our strong brand Aqua Bagno to become a full-range supplier in the field of sanitary products. We are pleased if you continue to accompany us on our journey as a loyal customer.
